Refunds & Guarantee

The Activation Guarantee

If a key doesn't activate, you choose: a replacement, or a full refund. You have 30 days from the day your key was delivered.

The full statement, including exactly what's covered and what isn't, is here: the Activation Guarantee. That page is the canonical version — if anything on this page ever seems to disagree with it, that page wins.

Two things worth pulling out:

  • You choose, not us. Not store credit on a key that failed. Not a partial. Not a fight.
  • We fund it ourselves. It doesn't depend on whether we can recover anything from our supplier.

This activation guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not limit, replace, or exclude, any non-excludable statutory rights or consumer guarantees available to you under applicable local law.

How to make a claim

Email support@altf4.codes with three things:

  1. Your Order Number (or Transaction ID).
  2. The last four digits of the payment method you used.
  3. A screenshot of the exact error your platform showed you.

The screenshot is the one that matters. It's what lets us verify quickly instead of asking you twenty questions, and it's the only evidence any platform actually gives you. If you can't screenshot it, type the error message exactly as it appeared.

What happens next

We verify claims within 2 business days — usually much sooner.

A person reviews every claim. We don't auto-refund at any order value. That's not distrust: an automated refund loop is something people farm, and the cost of that lands on honest customers eventually.

Once approved, you choose — a replacement key, or a full refund.

How refunds are issued

Back to the card you paid with. Approved refunds go to your original payment method.

We will never substitute store credit for a cash refund on a key that failed to activate. Not as a default, not as an option we push, not at all.

Timing: once approved, refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days on cards, up to 10 business days on other methods, depending on your provider. That last stretch is your bank, not us.

Changed your mind?

Keys are single-use. Once a code has been revealed, we generally can't take it back.

Email us anyway. We may be able to offer you store credit as a goodwill gesture, worth about 10% more than the cash value — a $20 order becomes $22 in credit.

That is an offer, not a substitute. It applies only to change-of-mind. If a key actually failed to activate, you get your money back, full stop, and nobody will try to steer you into credit instead.

What isn't covered

  • Buying a key labeled for a different region. The region is on every product page and confirmed again at add-to-cart. If you knowingly buy a key for a region that isn't yours, the key isn't defective — it's doing exactly what the label said.
  • Changing your mind after the code is revealed — see above; email us anyway.

But note: if we sold you a key as valid for your region and it fails purely on a region restriction, that's our error and it's covered. Same remedy, same choice.
