Refund Policy
Last Updated: 20 July 2026
We sell single-use digital keys. Once a code has been delivered or revealed, we generally can't un-sell it — but that is not the end of the story, and the exceptions below matter more than the rule. If a key doesn't work, wasn't what we said it was, or never arrived, you get a remedy. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have under the consumer laws that apply to you.
1. When You Are Entitled to a Refund or Replacement
- A key that doesn't activate: If a key is invalid, already redeemed, duplicated, or non-functional when we deliver it, we'll replace it or refund you in full — your choice. This is our Activation Guarantee.
- Region mismatch on a product we sold as valid for you: If a key we sold as valid for your region (or as region-free) fails purely because of a region restriction, we treat it exactly like a key that didn't activate. Same remedy, same choice. This doesn't cover buying a key that was clearly labeled for a different region — the region is on every product page. See Digital Delivery.
- Non-delivery: If we can't deliver, you get a full refund to your original payment method.
- Duplicate charges: Voided or refunded promptly.
- Every claim is reviewed by a person. We don't auto-refund, at any order value. Send us the activation error and we'll verify it within 2 business days — usually much sooner. This protects you (a real person actually looks at your problem) and it protects the store (nobody can farm an automated refund loop).
2. The Activation Guarantee
Our full Activation Guarantee is the canonical statement of what we promise. In short: if a key doesn't activate, you choose — replacement or a full refund — and you have 30 days from the day your key was delivered to tell us.
We measure that window from delivery, not from purchase, so a slow delivery never eats into your time.
This guarantee is ours. We fund it. It does not depend on whether we can recover anything from anyone upstream. That is the whole point of buying from a merchant instead of a marketplace.
This activation guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not limit, replace, or exclude, any non-excludable statutory rights or consumer guarantees available to you under applicable local law.
3. How Refunds Are Issued
- Back to how you paid: Approved refunds go to the original payment method. We will never substitute store credit for a cash refund on a key that failed to activate. Not as a default, not as an option we push, not at all.
- Change of mind: Where we're not obliged to refund a change-of-mind purchase, we may still offer you store credit as a goodwill gesture — with roughly 10% more value than the cash amount (a $20 order becomes $22 in credit). This is an offer. You are free to decline it, and declining costs you nothing you were otherwise entitled to.
- Processing time: Once approved, refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days on cards, up to 10 business days on other methods, depending on your provider.
4. Consumer Rights
- Missouri residents: We handle all transactions consistent with the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act (MMPA), which prohibits deceptive practices and requires products to match their description.
5. How to Make a Claim
Email support@altf4.codes with:
- Your Order Number or Transaction ID.
- The last four digits of the payment method used.
- A screenshot of the exact error your platform showed you. This is the one thing we really need — it's what lets us verify fast instead of asking you twenty questions.
