Lost Judgment is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. It is a direct sequel to the 2018 title *Judgment*. Players assume the role of Takayuki Yagami, a former lawyer turned private detective, in the fictionalized districts of Kamurocho, Tokyo, and Ijincho, Yokohama. The narrative centers on Yagami's investigation into a seemingly straightforward case of sexual harassment that escalates into a complex conspiracy involving murder, corruption, and the Japanese legal system.
Gameplay Features:
The core gameplay loop combines investigative work with combat. Investigations involve gathering evidence, tailing suspects, utilizing stealth mechanics, and interviewing witnesses. Yagami employs various tools and abilities to uncover clues, including a drone for aerial surveillance, a signal detector for tracking, and a dog companion for sniffing out items. Combat is real-time and action-oriented, featuring multiple fighting styles:
- Crane Style: Focuses on wide, sweeping attacks effective against groups of enemies.
- Tiger Style: Emphasizes powerful, single-target strikes for duels.
