Description
688(I) Hunter/Killer puts you in charge of a submarine simulation. You operate over 12 detailed stations including helm, sonar suite, fire control, and target motion analysis. You develop target situations and manage submarine resources such as crewmen training and weapons load-outs. The terrain uses actual satellite topographical data for ocean depth and water density across the globe.
You navigate 3D models of over 20 different naval weapons platforms using multiple camera views. You conduct training, single missions, and a campaign based on political analysis. You engage in Seek and Destroy warfare against other players. You complete a tour of duty to earn dolphins. This simulation was developed by Sonalysts, a defense contractor that designs submarine simulators for the US Navy.
