Description

Albedo: Eyes From Outer Space is a first-person adventure game. You play as John T. Longy, a night-watchman at a remote, partially abandoned research facility known as JUPITER. This laboratory is operated by the OLYMPUS GROUP, where scientists conduct research regarding SPACE and TIME. After an explosion knocks you unconscious, you awaken in the facility basement to discover a hole in the ceiling. As you move through the building, you encounter unearthly organisms.

The gameplay combines puzzle elements with first-person shooting action. You interact with over 100 items within twenty detailed rooms using an advanced physics engine. A device allows you to see into the future to solve problems. You also play through multiple mini-games, discover hidden areas, and find Easter eggs. The game includes over 8 hours of gameplay.

Reviews

“By the standards of many independent game titles, and most modern games for that matter, Albedo’s visuals are striking and extremely impressive.” IndieGameMag “Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space looks like something you'd get if you spliced together The Residents, BioShock and Myst, and it definitely stands out from the crowd.” Destructoid “Merge Games has just announced Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space, a first-person puzzle/first person shooter title set in a goofy sci-fi world.” Polygon
