Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a first person survival horror game. You play as Daniel, who wakes up in a desolate castle with almost no memory of his past. You explore eerie pathways and navigate narrow corridors while uncovering Daniel's troubled memories. The experience focuses on immersion and discovery as you navigate a nightmare.

You face danger that can hide behind every corner. Your only ways to stay alive are by running, hiding, or using your wits. The game uses a fully physically simulated world. You remain in control from the start to the end without any cut-scenes or time-jumps. You experience events firsthand as something emerges from the darkness. You must escape as the sound of dragging feet approaches.
