Approximately Up

Approximately Up is a spaceflight simulation where you build ambitious spaceships and experimental machines. You construct these vessels from a single piece of frame, adding thousands of components such as fuel engines, solar panels, and electric engines. You control your creation from a first-person perspective on the deck. You can also create automated systems, sensors, meters, and logic circuits to manage your ship.

You explore a system of 15 planets, each featuring unique gravity, temperatures, and atmospheres. You complete objectives like retrieving packages, fixing broken ionospheres, or tracking ancient mastodons. After discovering a Planet Station, it serves as a garage and checkpoint for your missions. Some mission outcomes leave permanent effects on the world. You navigate these environments to uncover what remains hidden beneath thick clouds and oceans.
