Armored Brigade II

Armored Brigade II is a tactical combat simulator set during the Cold War between 1965 and 1991. You engage in combined arms warfare across 3D terrain maps based on real locations in Europe. The gameplay allows for both pausable real-time and turn-based options. You manage command and control dynamics where the speed of receiving and executing orders depends on training, doctrine, distance from headquarters, and communication.

You issue instructions to formations using a combination of general commands and specific Standard Operating Procedures. Combat takes place under various lighting and weather conditions that influence your tactics. You can deploy forces ranging from a single platoon to multiple battalions. The game includes a skirmish generation system and over 1000 researched ground and air units.
