Axes and Acres

Axes and Acres puts you in the role of a lord overseeing a small plot of land and a few peasants. You manage these peasants, who are represented by dice, to perform various tasks. Depending on their mood, they can build, work, gather resources, and reproduce.

The gameplay incorporates elements of deck-building, allowing you to use motivation cards to influence your population. You chop, cultivate, and plan to develop a thriving village. Throughout each session, you can improve and change both your workers and your motivations. Every turn requires you to make complex and interesting choices, as you face difficult decisions that test your tactical and strategic skills. Each play-through is a discrete experience.
