Backrooms Media

Backrooms Media places you within surreal and hyper-realistic liminal spaces. You explore nightmarish environments such as the Bunker, the Dark Woods, the Pink Labyrinth, the Parking Lot, and Deep Level 0. Throughout your journey, you encounter distinct entities like the Bacteria, the Smiler, and Kitty. You must find scattered notes to reveal the fate of a previous expedition.

You navigate non-linear paths while managing temperature variations and environmental hazards. The game features procedural generation that shifts layouts and increases darkness. You utilize five specialized gadgets, including Radars, Decoys, Sensors, and the Stopping Shocker, to track and capture entities. You communicate with others using proximity voice chat to solve puzzles and coordinate your actions. Your survival depends on working together to trap prey within these shifting landscapes.
