Description
Barotrauma is a 2D submarine simulator set in the ocean beneath the icy surface of Jupiter’s moon, Europa. You navigate a punishing underwater environment while completing missions for the last remnants of humankind. You operate complex on-board systems such as nuclear reactors, sonar, engines, pumps, and weapons. As you explore the ruins of an alien civilization, you must also fight or flee from alien sea monsters.
You can choose from six player classes, each featuring unique skills and tasks: Captain, Engineer, Mechanic, Medic, Security officer, and Assistant. The game includes comprehensive crafting and medical systems alongside complex on-board wiring. You can use built-in editors to create your own submarines and monsters. You can play with up to 16 players, and you may supplement your crew with bots.
