Description
In Beholder, you exist within a grim dystopian future where a totalitarian State governs all public and private life. As the State-installed manager of an apartment building, you operate under the guise of maintaining a residence for tenants. Your actual mission involves watching these residents and eavesdropping on their private conversations. You must bug apartments during their absence, search through their personal belongings for items threatening State authority, and create profiles for your superiors.
You report individuals who violate laws or plot against the regime. You also manage the needs of your own family while acting as a cog in the machine. Your decisions during dozens of quests influence the story, leading to one of several endings based on your actions.
