Beyond the Wire

Beyond The Wire takes place within the muddy trenches of the Western Front during the Great War. You participate in large-scale combat as a soldier in a 50v50 first-person shooter. You join nine-person squads overseen by a commander to navigate massive maps and claustrophobic trench environments. The gameplay focuses on team collaboration, requiring you to communicate tactics and coordinate positions with your squad to survive.

You choose from ten different factions representing the Central Powers and Entente. Depending on your chosen role, such as Infantry Officer, Rifleman, Medic, Grenadier, Sniper, or Artillery Gunner, you utilize specific loadouts and gear. You also operate era-specific tanks like the British MK. IV, Canadian Armoured Autocar, and German Sturmpanzerwagen A7V. The game features a brutal melee combat system and historically inspired weapons.
