Black Forest

Black Forest is a city builder focused on defense rather than expansion. You act as the chief of an unlucky village struggling to survive against the unrelenting darkness inhabiting the woods. Your goal is to gather resources, reinforce your defenses, and maintain a delicate balance until the king's knights arrive. Sinister secrets awake in the woods and focus their attention on your settlement.

As village chief, you strategically assign peasants to fend off creatures. Every decision matters and any loss of life is permanent. You must outthink and outsmart the forces arrayed against you to minimize your losses. The monsters use a sophisticated AI that allows them to observe the environment and adapt their behavior. You are completely on your own until help arrives.
