Description

Black Future '88 is a synth-punk roguelike 2D action shooter. You play as one of five survivors in an alternative version of 1988, where nuclear bombs caused endless rain and blacked out the sun. You must climb a procedural tower to kill the architect, Duncan, before your heart explodes. You are measured by the minutes you have left to live.

You shoot, slash, and dash through five distinct zones. You face homicidal AI, traps, crazed junkies, and colossal Wardens. Each of the five playable characters has unique buffs and weaknesses. The tower changes as you ascend, forcing you to fight through death by fire, lasers, and slashes. You can challenge unique bosses that guard each zone. You can also play with a friend.
