Description
Blade Assault is a 2D action rogue-lite platformer featuring pixel art. The story takes place in a desolate sci-fi world following the Red Stone War. The planet is split into three areas: the mutant infested outside grounds, the Undercity where people seek refuge, and the sky city Esperanza. You join the resistance force of the Undercity to fight the corrupt military of Esperanza.
You control a cast of characters who use transformable weapons kept in their own armory. Combat involves dashing to dodge attacks, slashing enemies, and launching projectiles. You can customize weapons using Cores and Transform Upgrades that appear during your runs. These choices change your attacks. You also interact with NPCs and find upgrades during your quest to unlock unique powers.
