Book of Demons

Book of Demons is a hack and slash game set within the Paperverse, a world created inside a pop-up book. You travel into the dungeons beneath the Old Cathedral to stop the Archdemon and rescue the Paperverse from his control. You use magic cards to represent your spells, items, and skills rather than traditional weapons. Your strategy involves building a hand of cards and upgrading them with runes to handle various situations.

The game features procedurally generated dungeons and over 70 types of monsters that possess unique traits. You encounter obstacles like enemy spells, monster shields, and poison that require precise timing and card management. The Flexiscope engine tracks your pace to suggest session lengths, allowing you to determine how long your quests last. A roguelike mode is available for those seeking extreme difficulty.
