Description
Brutal Legend is an action-adventure game featuring open-world exploration. You play as Eddie Riggs, a super roadie in a universe inspired by heavy metal music. The setting features mountains made of guitar amps, demons, and imitation cover bands. You travel this world by walking, driving, or flying.
You engage in combat using a double-sided broadaxe and a guitar that creates pyrotechnics. The gameplay combines action slasher mechanics with real-time strategy. You use guitar solos to summon objects, buff teammates, or cripple opponents. You command legions of metalheads into battle to achieve victory. The visual style draws inspiration from metal album covers. You progress from a roadie to a Rock God while using your guitar and axe to command the power of rock.
