Description
Californium is a first-person experience set in Berkeley in 1967. You inhabit the life of Elvin Green, a science fiction writer suffering from insomnia, a fading career, and the effects of a recent breakup. Your days involve consuming drugs and alcohol while struggling with blank page syndrome. As you investigate your surroundings, you search for your own identity and attempt to uncover what lies behind the simulacra.
The game world is psychedelic, forcing you to look for glitches in the matrix. You navigate a reality that crumbles as memories of your wife Thea and your editor Don blur together. You encounter alternate realities and listen to voices that may take control of your mind. The art direction was created by Olivier Bonhomme.
