Cortex Command

Cortex Command is a title where you select from various factions, each providing a distinct set of mechas, expendable soldiers, and weaponry. Your primary objectives involve mining gold, defending your brain, and destroying the enemy cortex located within their bunker complex. The game features 2D pixel graphics and a detailed physics engine that supports emergent real-time action.

You can use digging tools to blast through dirt and debris to excavate gold. All ship and body pieces remain on the ground, creating permanent battlefield changes. A turn-based strategic campaign mode links these tactical fights, utilizing persistent terrains that accumulate ruins, debris, and battle scars. Through an in-game menu, you order equipment and soldiers delivered by transport ships to your chosen location.
