Description
Curse of the Sea Rats is a ratoidvania platform adventure featuring hand-drawn animations. You follow four prisoners of the British empire who are turned into rats by the pirate witch Flora Burn. Your goal is to defeat dangerous bosses, explore the Irish coast, and capture the witch to regain your human bodies. The game utilizes 2D character animations combined with 3D environments to create a 2.5D experience.
You choose from four playable characters, David Douglas, Buffalo Calf, Bussa, and Akane Yamakawa, each with distinct fighting styles, strengths, and weaknesses. You navigate a non-linear world consisting of a labyrinthine network of pathways and rooms. As you progress, you improve your abilities by unlocking special skills, boosting offense and defense, and learning magics.
