Description
Dark Years takes place in 1953 Tehran, Iran, where the city faces terror from a string of brutal murders. You follow Major Afshar, who investigates these crimes. Simultaneously, an Iranian journalist in London receives documents revealing a massive conspiracy. As you progress, the Major and the journalist find their paths intersecting. You uncover plans for a coup and expose Western government involvement in the region.
The game features open-world gameplay that includes shooting and driving mechanics. You interact with over 25 characters featuring nearly 3000 lines of dialogue. This narrative is based on the real events surrounding Operation Ajax, where British and American governments backed a coup to overthrow Mohammad Mosaddegh.
