Darkest Dungeon

Darkest Dungeon is a gothic roguelike turn-based role-playing game focused on the psychological pressure of adventuring. You are tasked with reclaiming your ancestor's estate by leading a group of imperfect heroes. Your journey takes you through ruined crypts, forgotten warrens, and twisted forests. While navigating these locations, you must manage famine, disease, stress, and the creeping dark.

You command your team using a strategic combat system to fight against diabolical monsters. The Affliction System forces you to deal with fear, paranoia, and irrationality as your characters face these challenges. You can utilize 16 playable hero classes, such as the Leper, Hellion, and Plague Doctor. You must also manage your team by camping to heal or resting in town. The game includes procedural dungeons and character permadeath.
