Description
Empires of the Undergrowth is a game that blends real-time strategy with base-building elements. You command swarms of warriors and lead ant colonies against fearsome threats found in the insect world. You forge an empire by constructing intricate nests, managing an elaborate hierarchy, and developing pheromone-based tactics. You must evolve to meet growing dangers while controlling various warrior ant species in intense battles.
You order workers to build and supply an ever-expanding base while protecting your queen. You dig through a hex-based maze of soil and bedrock to seek food and defend against other underground dwellers. You push beyond your nest to gather seeds, nectar, fungus, and other insects. Each decision you make has a ripple effect on your colony. You manage species with different evolutionary paths and natural weapons.
