Description
In FINAL FANTASY IX, you follow Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe after they kidnap Princess Garnet of Alexandria. The princess actually wants to leave the castle, and she joins Zidane alongside her guard, Steiner. On their journey, they meet Vivi and Quina while discovering secrets about the Crystal and a malevolent force threatening their world.
You learn abilities by equipping items. Mastering these allows for customization without the items equipped. During combat, you fill a Trance gauge to trigger Trance mode, which provides powerful skills. You can also combine items or equipment through synthesis to create stronger objects. When not saving the world, you can play minigames like Tetra Master, Jump Rope, or Chocobo Hot and Cold to earn special item rewards.
