Description
Fishing: Barents Sea is a simulation game where you take the helm of a fishing boat to explore the Barents Sea. You begin with a small vessel inherited from your grandfather. As you catch fish, you earn money to purchase upgrades and acquire better boats. You can hire crew members or accept missions at the harbor pub. The port allows you to repair your ships, obtain bank loans, or buy bait and supplies at the shop.
You utilize sonar, radar, and GPS to locate fishing zones within an open world environment that recreates the landscapes of northern Norway. You must manage your yearly fishing quotas while using equipment like door sensors and TrawlEye. The schools of fish move based on season and water temperature. There are seven playable ships.
