Description
For The King is a strategic role-playing game that mixes tabletop mechanics with roguelike features. The story takes place in the kingdom of Fahrul, which has fallen into chaos following the murder of the king. The queen asks the citizens to rise up and prevent impending doom. You explore the land, battle wicked creatures, sail the seas, and enter the dark underworld.
You engage in turn-based combat using a system based on dice rolls for attacks and special abilities. You gather herbs to heal wounds and cure illnesses. You can establish camps for safety or face dangers that appear at night. Every playthrough features procedurally generated maps, quests, loot, and events. You can choose to play alone, locally, or online. You use Lore to purchase items, weapons, classes, and events.
