Description
Gloomhaven is a tactical RPG set in a medieval dark fantasy universe. You lead a band of two to four mercenaries through this unforgiving place to shape the fate of the region. Your journey takes you through dreadful forests, dark caves, and terrifying dungeons filled with horrific monsters. You work for various individuals, including city officials and corrupt cultists, to earn gold.
You manage a deck of ability cards for each of the 17 unique characters, which feature over 1,000 different abilities to master. During turn-based combat on a hex grid, you select two cards per mercenary each turn, using the top half of one and the bottom half of another. Cards serve as a vital resource, and exhaustion is a constant threat to your life points.
