Description
Heading Out is a road trip adventure that combines racing with storytelling. You play as the Interstate Jackalope, an outlaw driving across a mythic version of America. Your goal is to reach your destination to face the world's greatest driver. The game features a black-and-white comic book visual style with splashes of color. An Americana soundtrack with jazz and rock music accompanies your travels.
As you drive, you manage your fuel, focus, and vehicle condition. You encounter various characters and face moral dilemmas that alter the story. Your actions determine your reputation and your wanted level. Each route on the dynamic map offers different challenges, including street races and police pursuits. The narrative includes multiple endings based on the choices you make during your journey.
