Description
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is a ground-based strategy game acting as a prequel to the classic Homeworld titles. You follow the story of Rachel S'jet as she leads an expedition into the southern desert to investigate a discovered anomaly. This journey focuses on her people searching for their destiny across the shifting sands of Kharak.
You command fleets consisting of land and air vehicles, ranging from light attack units to heavy cruisers. Combat takes place across dune seas, craters, and canyons. You can use the high ground or dune lines to create ambushes against enemy forces. Success depends on your management of resources, technology research, and fleet composition. You can also compete against other players in various game modes, including ranked play.
