Description
Knights and Merchants recreates the Middle Ages during the Anglo-Saxon period of 1200 A.D. You act as a captain in the Palace Guard tasked with defending the final royal province after a kingdom shatters into small principalities. As the capital faces a siege, you work to reclaim the lost territories for your king.
The gameplay involves building a prosperous settlement with a complete economy while training troops for the battlefield. You command over 10 different troop types, such as knights, scouts, archers, bowman, and barbarians. The experience features 34 missions across two campaigns, The Shattered Kingdom and The Peasants Rebellion. You utilize about 25 different types of buildings and encounter more than a dozen different types of characters. The game includes Skirmish Mode and 10 maps for multiplayer battles.
