Description
Lake is set in 1986. You play as Meredith Weiss, a woman in her forties who takes a break from her demanding software career in the city to return to her hometown of Providence Oaks, Oregon. She fills in for her father as the local mail carrier for two weeks. During this time, you drive the mail truck around the lake or use the auto-pilot feature.
You interact with various characters, deciding who to talk to, befriend, or pursue for a romantic relationship. After work, you choose whether to assist neighbors, spend time with friends, or read at home. The story unfolds without cellphones or the Internet. At the end of your stay, you decide whether to remain in town or return to your city job.
