Microtopia

In Microtopia, you act as the hive mind for a colony of robot ants. You design networks of transport trails using pheromone paths to automate and optimize supply chains. Your tasks include gathering materials, producing goods, and feeding your queen. You navigate through a world made of electronic waste while exploring colorful biomes. You also discover plant species and determine how to utilize their resources.

You improve your colony by upgrading workers into specific castes, including digger, inventor, and flying ants. You use sensors and logic gates to sort ants based on various properties and progress through a tech tree. Your primary objective is to reproduce by gathering resources to build young queens. These queens depart during the nuptial flight to expand the species to nearby islands and distant lands.
