Description
Murders on the Yangtze River is a detective game set in early 20th century China. You play as John Shen, a traveling detective searching for truth and revenge regarding his brother’s death. You explore the story through a horizontal axis perspective featuring a brush painting art style. Along your journey, you encounter various cases filled with drama, mystery, and suspense.
You investigate crime scenes to search for evidence and debate with suspects to identify the murderer. You must find contradictions within testimonies and solve challenging puzzles to unravel the mystery. You are assisted by Frankie, who uses technological inventions during investigations. While John Shen is a refined gentleman with a sharp intellect, he possesses a darker side. The game includes an intuitive tutorial that begins with simple cases.
