Oknytt

Oknytt is a point-and-click adventure game set in a Norse medieval world. You play as a small creature searching for a place to belong within a dark landscape. The environment and the beings you encounter draw inspiration from Swedish folklore. The game features an art style inspired by the painter John Bauer.

You solve puzzles by using items and activating four runes located on the screen. Each rune possesses a specific element that triggers changes in your surroundings. You manipulate the environment by utilizing these elemental forces. Throughout your journey, you collect lore about various monsters and creatures from Scandinavian folklore. Brian Hall provides the voice acting for the game. You spend 6-7 hours solving puzzles to progress through the world.
