Description

Oriental Empires is a turn based 4X strategy game that recreates the civilizations of ancient China. You control a tribe or city starting from the dawn of Chinese history. Your goal is to expand your territory and develop your culture until you are recognized as the Son of Heaven and ruler of the world. You can persuade other factions to accept your status through diplomatic means or military force.

You develop your land, build great cities, and raise massive armies to fight epic wars. The action occurs on a vast map depicting the landscape of China and Mongolia. You manage technology, culture, and religion as you grow your civilization. You can command infantry, cavalry, chariot, artillery, and naval units. These units appear as fully animated 3D models on the game map.
