Description

Police Stories is a top-down tactical shooter where you play as police operatives John Rimes and Rick Jones. You infiltrate criminal hideouts, rescue hostages, and defuse bombs while managing life-threatening situations. The game requires you to make split-second decisions, as shooting first is not an option. You can issue commands to Rick Jones to assist you during missions.

The Surrender System lets you apprehend suspects without violence through methods like warning shots or melee combat. You utilize police equipment such as under-the-door cameras and door blast charges. You face various lawbreakers, including petty criminals, organized gangs, and terrorists, who possess unique weapons and behaviors. Because criminals, hostages, and evidence are placed randomly, each level run is unique. Your actions are scored in real time based on your tactical performance.

Reviews

“It’s a cop game that looks and plays like Hotline Miami but has more in common with the slower, more tactical first-person SWAT series in practice.” PC Gamer “This sliver of game has occupied me all afternoon, despite being only two levels, and I really enjoy how it feels. I especially love how one wrong move blows an entire mission.” Rock Paper Shotgun “If you’re a lover of Police Quest or Door Kickers then Police Stories absolutely needs to be on your radar.” Hardcore Gamer
