Description
Port Royale 2 is set in the 17th century Caribbean. You manage a trading empire by conducting business with over 60 towns. You build production facilities, houses, and special function buildings to help these settlements flourish. You can also construct your own towns. The game world features 4 nations and 60 towns. You take on missions for diplomats, merchants, and other characters.
You must protect your trade convoys from military fleets and pirates using escort ships. You can also capture military ships or hunt pirates yourself. By completing missions for the Vice Kings to attack and conquer enemy towns, you influence the defenses of your home towns. Successful completion of these tasks earns you land. There are 16 different ship-types and 8 special scenarios for a quick start.
