Description

In Potion Permit, you arrive in the town of Moonbury as an accomplished chemist sent by the Medical Association. The local residents have historically relied on traditional healing methods and are hesitant to trust modern alchemy. Your primary task is to cure the mayor's daughter, proving the value of your skills to the community. You must interact with around 30 unique inhabitants, diagnosing their specific symptoms and brewing the necessary remedies to restore their health.

You explore the surrounding environment to gather ingredients for your potions, ointments, and salves. You use your hammer, axe, and sickle for these tasks and can upgrade them to improve your work. You must also contend with changing weather conditions and confront monsters in the wilderness to collect essential materials.

Reviews

“This is the digital equivalent of a cup of hot chocolate: all warm cuddles and sugary sweet cheeriness. It's an idyllic town from a pixelated picture book, as dinky as a toy set, and always bathed in sunshine or dappled in moonlight or flickering in warm candlelight.” Eurogamer “It's an adorable spin on a fantasy world, and a cute departure from the usual farming-focused crafts featured in most life sims.” PC Gamer “A brilliant blend of Stardew Valley and old-school JRPG, topped with a sprinkling of intriguing puzzles and minigames to keep it fresh.” 9/10 – Pocket Tactics
