River City Girls 2

River City Girls 2 follows Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, and Riki as they face an old enemy seeking revenge. They are joined by two newcomers, Marian and Provie. You explore a larger version of River City that features additional locations, multiple routes, secret areas, and a day-night cycle.

You can select from six playable characters, each possessing unique fighting styles and upgradable move sets. Combat includes guard-crush attacks, lift-off combos, and elemental status effects. You can recruit defeated enemies and hired heavies to assist in battle, with the ability to have two recruits active at once. You also visit more than 40 shops to buy items and accessories. The game includes non-linear gameplay, character-specific voiceovers, an anime intro, comic book cutscenes, and a soundtrack by Megan McDuffee.
