Description

In Sid Meier's Civilization VI, you build and expand an empire through history. You develop your culture and compete against historical leaders who follow their own agendas. Cities physically grow across the world map, and you choose where to place districts like Commercial Hubs or Spaceports on specific hexes. These districts provide unique bonuses to help you progress. You research technology and explore the Civics tree to unlock new governments and cultural policies.

You actively explore and develop your environment to boost your civilization’s growth. You manage diplomatic relationships that evolve from early conflict into alliances. You can gain the allegiance of city-states for special bonuses or use spies to gather intel, steal resources, and topple governments. There are five ways to achieve victory in the game.
