Description
In Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, you command a space-faring empire. This game combines real-time strategy gameplay with 4X depth, including exploring, expanding, exploiting, and exterminating. The story follows a war that has caused a splintering of the factions involved. The Trader Emergency Coalition is divided between those focusing on isolation and enhanced defenses and those taking a militant view to crush opponents.
The Advent Unity experiences a schism between those seeking revenge and others who believe the group has been diverted from its destiny. Within the Vasari Empire, the loyalist faction abandons cooperation to seize resources, while the rebel faction works with other races to flee an approaching enemy. You choose to play as a Loyalist or Rebel, which unlocks its own technologies, ships, and play styles. Mighty Titan class warships enter the war.
