Description
Sons of Valhalla is a roguelike strategy game set in the Viking Age. You take on the role of Thorald Olavson, a warrior traveling to England to find the Jarl who destroyed his home and kidnapped his beloved. You must raise a warband and lead your troops through a saga of vengeance.
The game features side-scrolling combat, base building, and strategy. You manage limited funds and resources while choosing your path across the English countryside. You will battle, besiege enemy strongholds, and bargain for equipment. You can build structures and siege engines, and upgrade your soldiers. You travel between towns to find merchants and mercenaries. You can revisit locations on the map and plan your route while a storm slowly covers the land.
