Description
SpeedRunners is a competitive platformer set in a city populated by superheroes. In this environment, reaching the scene of a crime turns into a high-stakes race. You compete against three other characters by running, jumping, and swinging through interactive locations. To maintain your lead, you use an assortment of items such as rockets, bombs, spikes, and grappling hooks to knock opponents off the screen. If you fall behind the fastest player, you are eliminated from the match.
The game includes a tutorial to help you learn the mechanics and a campaign mode. You can play against AI-controlled bots or compete against other players. There are a dozen maps available, as well as unique modifiers and a character named Unic. You can also design your own levels and create custom trails.
