Description
State of Mind is a futuristic thriller about transhumanism set in Berlin during the year 2048. You play as journalist Richard Nolan and five other characters in a world suffering from resource shortages, war, and pollution. As society adopts humanoid robots and drones, surveillance becomes constant. After an explosion leaves Richard hospitalized, he discovers his family has disappeared. You must investigate his past using research, deductional skills, and dexterity to uncover a global conspiracy.
The story explores the tension between a dystopian material reality and a virtual paradise. You navigate environments that feature a unique visual style, blending realistic settings with low-poly characters. The game also supports Tobii Eye Tracking to interact with the augmented reality world. The narrative questions if a super-AI or digital utopia can truly save humanity.
