Description
In Steelrising, you travel to Paris in 1789 during a suppressed French Revolution. King Louis XVI maintains control using a violent army of automatons. You play as Aegis, a mechanical creation designed by Vaucanson to protect the queen. Your goal is to confront the king and his legions to ensure the revolution succeeds within this alternative history.
You face challenging combat against mechanical soldiers where you must use dodges, parries, jumps, and attacks. You can develop your own style by upgrading abilities, choosing to be a warrior, bodyguard, dancer, or elemental virtuoso. You navigate the burning city using tools like a grappling hook and carriage to reach secret areas. Along the way, you encounter figures such as Marie-Antoinette, Lafayette, and Robespierre. Aegis is a character with extraordinary skills.
