Description
The Chant is a third person horror action-adventure game set on a remote island spiritual retreat. A group chant opens The Gloom, a psychedelic dimension that feeds off negative energy. You interact with a recurring cast of characters and uncover the history of the island. You witness revelations about the cosmos and unravel the legacy of a cult from the 1970s to reverse the ritual.
You survive against prismatic creatures and cultists released from The Gloom. You choose your fights using spiritual weapons and abilities. You collect, craft, and manage resources for close combat or flee. You balance your mind, body, and spirit by steeling against panic, protecting against physical threats, and meditating to access supernatural abilities. The setting features colored lighting and an electronic rock soundtrack.
