Description
The Flame in the Flood is a rogue-like journey set in the backwaters of a forgotten post-societal America. You travel by foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river. Your goal involves scrounging for resources to survive the environment.
As you progress, you must craft tools to aid in your journey. You also need to remedy afflictions and evade the vicious wildlife found throughout the wilderness. A primary objective requires you to stay ahead of the coming rains. You forage for supplies while navigating the river paths. The game was created by a team of veterans from various series and the Art Director of BioShock. You encounter dangers while moving through the landscape. The experience focuses on the challenges of surviving in this setting.
