The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante

The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is a narrative-driven role-playing game that unfolds through the pages of a personal journal. You inhabit a gritty world where the Great Arknian Empire enforces a strict social order determined by birth. As a commoner with no title or rights, you must navigate a life-long journey from birth until death. You face adversity and difficult choices while dealing with ossified traditions and prejudice.

Your decisions affect the protagonist, his family, and the foundation of the Empire. You can choose to follow the path of an inquisitor or a judge, or you may work to topple the existing order. The game tracks your deeds, acquired skills, and other circumstances across chapters to shape a unique plotline. The world is governed by the Twin Gods.
