Description
In The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, you join a group of explorers searching for treasure in a cursed jungle. You must venture into this hostile environment where danger is present everywhere. Monstrous creatures inhabit the area, and these entities possess the ability to alter reality.
Aboard a galleon, you prepare for your expeditions by signing a contract with the captain to receive gear. You and your party divide equipment and weapons before choosing which section of the jungle to explore. During your journey, you navigate abandoned forts and recover logbooks to unlock them as starting points. The game includes a madness system that distorts your senses and creates paranoia. You use spatialized voice chat to coordinate with your group while seeking riches hidden within The Mound.
